leaping towards spring! & career path

One thing I dislike about today is having to give up one hour of the day! but being that it is almost 7pm here in San Diego and the sun is still out, I love it!


I was super tired today, thus I drank coffee, and somehow it made me even more tired and groggy! weird...does coffee give you weird side affects too??

Whilst I was conducting some info my my group project tomorrow about careers related to strength & conditioning, I immediately became curious about the process of becoming an Esthetician. So I did some research to find out about the school and certification progress, and decided to maaaybe take a leap of faith and consider it in my future. Definately a different direction from my Kinesiology major eh? * le sighhh

So I went through my financial aid files online and decided to add a school that is accredited in that field. If somehow I am able to go to that school without a cost, then no doubt will I fit that into my future. I am excited and can't wait to get more info about it.

Why am I acting upon this interest?

-I have been interested about this career for the past ~1.5 years but never acted upon it. It was all because of my first experience with my esthetician Martine. As you might have read previously, I had struggled with acne for so long, then it got worst to the point where I would cry about it and it affected me socially (I did NOT want to go anywhere and had self-negative talks!). Then after I went to Martine for a few sessions, I've never felt better and my confidence level went up tons! Because acne doesn't go away forever, it does take maintanence for clear skin, but I do not have the money for that right now.

It was amazing how this service affected me dramatically in a postitive way, and I played with the idea that I wanted to provide that same feeling for someone struggling with any low self-esteem issues with their problem skin.

By the way! Isn't the art form of Henna tattooing so exotic and beutiful? I love it!
For a girl who is sooo undecisive, thus wouldn't get a tattoo unless I was SURE about what I wanted with no regrets (that is hard) I would love to get this.

Did your plans for the future ever change towards a different direction waaaay different. Or were there things that you NEVER thought you'd do but you took interest in it?
