Very random post

Friday, January 15, 2010

Today is just going to be a very random post, like the header reads:

My thoughts are incomplete...that you might even think I'm weird or strange. I like weird, but I don't like strange. So I hope you think I'm weird :o)

I have a feeling I won't be posting anything up for a few days, and unfortunately my battery for my camera is dead, so therefore no pictures of eats for the day. Bummer! because I made some eats. I caved in and bought spaghetti squash! In a seperate pot I cooked up some ground turkey breasts, and let me tell you, it was my first time cooking with ground turkey boobs, and it was strange.

I just was not used to the texture and mushiness. Usually when I cook ground meat, I hear a siiiiizzzle and a crackle once it hits the pot due to rendering in its own fat, but using ground turkey breast, it was silent as a bee. To be honest, I was disappointed and I don't know why. I just love hearing the sound food makes once it hits the pot. It just gets me excited.

Like onions sizzling to oil.

You're like my onion to my oil, once we hit the pot we sizzle, ha.
- I think I shoud use that line on someone tonight, if you do use it, please tell me how it goes.

I've been having a nonchalant day, and I don't even know what that word means or if I even spelled it right, but I have a sense.

This picture was taken when I was parked under this tree at my gym. Sometimes I wish I can take pictures with my eyes because a camera just can't compare. I remember sitting in my car for a while in a relaxed state of mind. Trees, especially pretty colorful ones, have a great way of putting your mind at ease.

Have you ever seen someone look at the sunset and say "oh no, that sunset is totally ugly" just a random thought.

Have you seen Angela's recipe for her Vegan Strawberry Spelt Biscuits? Since I have the recipes on hand I think I'll make it tonight and make sure my battery is alive this time.

Right around Christmas time I got a package from Lesley which I haven't mentioned on this post (thanks again!). We decided to trade Trio Bars because our supermarket chains didn't carry the flavors we wanted to try, but luckily the other end did. Sounds like a good plan to me!

I was excited, and of course it's all gone now.

I still haven't figured what to do yet with this spread, I've had a taste of it (via pinky) and it was really good.

I bought whole wheat wraps last night from TJ's and tomorrow I will be having the usual oatmeal! so there you have it, you get the sense what I'll be using it for :o)

Another thing from the past, I have given this thing a try long ago.

Sounds too good to be true? well it takes getting used to that's for sure.
This is like the exact replica of pudding, not a dip.

I've used it in my oatmeal before and liked it. The taste shocked my tongue a little bit and I got frightened. I had to stop for a second and go woahhh and then that shocking face turned to sadness...because I didn't like it. I just need to get used to it and acquire the taste. This thing deserves a second chance. Right?

I also gave my juicer (from my past) a third or maybe fourth chance. I suddenly remembered why I decided to break-off our relationship, because it sucks and makes me frustrated!

bleh!
bleh!

Goodnight.

I have some of that chocolate spread too and I agree ... I haven't figured out what to do with it either and I've only tried it via pinky as well!! ;) haha.

P.S. I like weird too!
